Overview
The Enterprise Resilience Team is looking for a Business Continuity (BC) Senior Analyst to support the global BC programme across Mastercard. In this role, you will:
• Build relationships with key stakeholders within your assigned business unit/s to provide support and guidance to ensure deadlines are met and all areas are compliant.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure completion of relevant tasks; business impact analysis, business continuity planning and exercises while applying detailed QA and support for your business unit/s.
• Embed Business Continuity within your business unit/s, providing training opportunities and being the champion for the function.
• Present key MI to the leadership or relevant steering committees.
• Partner with global Enterprise Resilience staff to understand resilience and to guide standardisation where appropriate.
• Partner with team members within the Resilience Planning (RP) function to support regulatory compliance for all jurisdictions in which this business entity operates.
• Partner with team members within the Crisis Management (CM) function to provide support, knowledge, and data during a business disrupting incident.
• Report on weekly progress with the annual cycle, identifying areas for improvement and how you will achieve this.
• Identify areas for improvement within your business unit/s as well as in the wider programme itself - be that technical enhancements or programme developments.
• Partner with management and be a key contributor on resiliency projects.
• Provide support to other business partners within the team by troubleshooting their technical issues before escalation is required and providing in-depth subject matter knowledge to further support and understand the programme.
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills are a core requirement.
• Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.
• Detailed knowledge and experience of relevant ISO certification requirements and regulatory requirements / relevant legislation.
• Industry accreditation (preferably at CMBC (or equivalent) level minimum).
• Very strong experience in the full Business Continuity cycle.
• Strong experience in dealing with auditors, regulators and third parties (providing evidence and speaking to it).
• Experience in designing, facilitating, and reporting on complex, scenario-based exercises.
• Strong experience managing relationships at varying levels within the organisational structure.
• Fusion Risk Management Business Continuity software experience advantageous.
• Emergency notification tool experience advantageous.
• Experience in the design and delivery or management information metrics advantageous.
• Ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Confident decision maker and demonstrates task and objective ownership.
• Ability to drive consistent and repeatable results with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail, accurate and consistent (on time) delivery.
• Ability to define and implement solutions based on strategic direction.
• Passion for personal development and learning.
