About the Role
The Biz Ops team is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). Biz Ops is responsible for production readiness of Mastercard products, ensuring platform stability and health. As an SRE, you will empower developers to build resilient products, support operational design, automation, capacity planning, and monitoring. You help set and enforce operational standards and foster an agile, learning culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of Mastercard applications.
• Support daily operations with a focus on triage, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
• Engage early in the development lifecycle to proactively manage production and change activities.
• Manage risk, compliance, and security across all environments.
• Align product and customer priorities with operational needs through continuous feedback.

Mastercard Processing enables seamless, secure, and reliable payment transactions globally. It provides comprehensive solutions for transaction authorization, clearing, settlement, and fraud management, supporting various payment types and ensuring compliance with global and local regulations. Role qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., physics, mathematics) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Way4/OpenWay applications, Oracle/Postgres databases, and financial industry systems.
• Designing, building, and operating large-scale, distributed systems.

• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.

ITSM Practices
• Analyze ITSM activities (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request Management).

Site Reliability Engineering
• Design and implement reliable, scalable infrastructure.

• Manage Linux and Windows instances, create technical documentation.
Log Analysis and Processing
