Senior Software Engineer The Enterprise Data Accessibility program enables business insights for every transaction.

As an Sr. Software Engineer, – Big Data API Development, a typical day might include:

• Developing the latest API solutions using Java Spring, Oracle, Hadoop.
• Working with technical leaders across the company to ensure our API products align with
business objectives and meet the latest API standards in the industry
• Collaborating with our internal engineering partners in Web Engineering, Data Engineering
and Open API to build cloud enabled, data centric microservices and expose these to internal
and external stakeholders
• Working closely with other engineers as part of high functioning agile team to advance high
level strategies like cloud enablement and streaming analytics
• Working with Senior Leadership teams to advance our Big Data Strategy and our Data as a
Service roadmaps

This might be the job for you if:

• You love the experience you had building software using Java and Spring Boot
• You have a passion for technology and the latest advancements in Big Data platforms and
web services development
• You have a strong commitment towards quality and continuous improvement of processes
and software; you're well-versed with software engineering practices. (e.g. Continuous
Integration, Build/Deploy, Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Test & Staging Environments,
object oriented design and development)

What you'll bring:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with object oriented concepts and languages such as Java

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
