Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps to join our high-performing team. This role bridges infrastructure and development, focusing on system reliability, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency. You will lead initiatives in observability, automation, incident management, and FinOps, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across product and engineering teams.



Key Responsibilities

Ensure production systems meet SLAs/SLOs through proactive performance and reliability enhancements.

Design and maintain observability systems (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting).

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational health and accountability.

Lead FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud usage and support cost-aware engineering.

Tune and scale applications on Kubernetes for optimal performance.

Guide teams on reliability-first design and instrumentation for observability.

Drive incident management processes and postmortems for continuous improvement.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, EKS, EC2, PCF.).

Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows using IaC tools.

Troubleshoot complex systems and contribute to tool development and integration.

Advocate for best practices in automation, reliability, and financial accountability.



Required Qualifications

3-5 years in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering roles.

3+ years of experience in Java or ReactJS.

Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Linux.

Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki).

Proficiency in tracing tools (OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Tempo).

Experience with cloud cost tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Kubecost).

Strong scripting and coding skills (Python, Bash, Go, Groovy).

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.



Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Java (Spring Boot) and .NET/C#/python.

Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Experience with automated testing and security scanning pipelines.

Knowledge of network protocols and cloud architecture.

Experience designing zero-downtime deployment strategies (e.g., blue/green).
