Job Title

Senior Specialist, Product ManagementOverview
• Within the Brazil Loyalty Team, this position reports to the PLATFORMS VERTICAL, focused on loyalty platforms for issuers (e.g. MRS - Mastercard Rewards System) and merchants (e.g. Card Linked Services, Session M).
A product management role in the market typically acts on the following fronts:
• Is a business owner and manages long-term and short-term strategic and/or tactical initiatives for a product that is ready to be commercialized in the market;
• Oversees product evolution working in collaboration with Regional and Global teams, establishes go-to-market strategy, optimizes products and resources, implements incremental improvements within the product's lifecycle, strategizes around revenue generation for the product, works in collaboration with other areas to make product readiness (whenever needed), delivers assessments on the best way to implement the product at each client, conducts ongoing care and maintenance for the products and existing clients in the market.

From a general product management standpoint:
• Supports product management team efforts in developing strategic / tactical business plans and product roadmaps, influencing Regional and Global teams based on identified gaps and/or needs and/or opportunities from the market
• Works with internal MasterCard teams to analyze internal and external stakeholder needs and issues
• Provides input into profitability targets for different products
• Communicates new information, industry trends and market insights to internal stakeholders
• Tracks progress and reports on project plans for creation and implementation of new product features and enhancements
• Supports development of sales strategy and objectives, and provides training / enablement, material development, and product expertise for sales and RFP support
• Supports the development of business cases and requirements for product enhancements
• Supports clients currently using our products

From a specific platform product standpoint:
• Existing expertise and/or openness to learn and accumulate expertise on platform / technology related products, with a hybrid interest in business and technical features.
• Willingness to learn how to be an SME – Subject Matter Expert on your platform products.
• Ability to navigate between business-focused / revenue-focused / results-focused meetings with higher level audience like Managers, Directors and VP's, on one hand, and technical-focused / trouble-shooting-focused conversations with internal support teams, implementation teams and technical teams, on the other hand.

All About You
• Ability to navigate between business and technical conversations, hybrid profile.
• Demonstrated consistent success working with partners across other functions.
• Hands-on behavior, self-starter motivation, sense of ownership and urgency, as well as teamwork adherence are determining.
• Loyalty experience is a plus.
• Knowledge on Mastercard Loyalty solutions and/or Mastercard Core processes and operations is a plus.

Education/ Experience
 Bachelor's degree or appropriate relevant experience required
 Knowledge of the marketplace and clients' needs
 Has had P&L exposure
