Overview
Mastercard's US Open Banking product team is looking for a Senior Specialist to help us execute our product roadmap for our lending solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about product development and technology, is highly motivated, intellectually curious, and good at bringing people together to solve problems.

Role
In this client-facing position, you will:
• Be a Product Owner for an agile product development team of software engineers that build and maintain API based data products
• Write user stories for product initiatives
• Manage the product backlog and coordinate with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize the work for the development team
• Coordinate with the development team to resolve product related blockers and help them be successful
• Monitor key product performance metrics and help identify opportunity areas
• Support the product team with miscellaneous items that may include product analysis tasks or project management

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Have experience working with technical teams or stakeholders (engineering experience is not required)
• Understand agile development frameworks like Scrum and SAFe
• Foster intellectual curiosity and be willing to step up even in unfamiliar situations
• Willingness to solicit, receive, consider and apply constructive feedback
• Be able to communicate succinctly and clearly
• Contribute to the vision and product roadmap
• Enjoy problem solving
• Good at working with people and bringing teams together

Additional desirable, but not required attributes:
• Experience working as a Product Owner for an agile development team
• Experience working with API based products
• Understanding of the fintech and/or open banking/open finance market
• Understanding of the lending market and/or consumer data verification products

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
