Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer II with a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps to join our high-performing team. This role bridges infrastructure and development, with a focus on system reliability, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
You will lead and contribute to initiatives that enhance observability, automation, incident management, and FinOps practices. This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to influence infrastructure design, CI/CD pipeline development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, EKS, EC2, PCF) using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
Build and maintain observability systems including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational health and accountability.
Manage build dependencies and generate artifacts using JFrog Artifactory, Chef Cookbooks, and Habitat.
Ensure operational readiness of new features and services through close collaboration with development teams.
Participate in incident management and postmortems to drive continuous reliability improvements.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
Troubleshoot complex systems and contribute to internal tool development and integration.
Support the evolution of platform scalability, performance, and security.

Required Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering roles.
2+ years of experience in any programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with tracing tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog).
Strong scripting and Linux administration skills.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with automated testing and security scanning pipelines.
Proven experience in incident response and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
