Title and Summary

Specialist, Product Management Overview:

Mastercard's Fraud & Risk Intelligence solutions team in Europe leverages world-class security products and services to lead multi-product commercialization initiatives, within the Security Solutions Organization of Mastercard.

As part of this organization, the Specialist, Product Management is responsible for deploying and managing Mastercard Fraud & Risk Intelligence solutions and products in the European Region, with a key focus on Financial Crime (crypto and AML) solutions. As part of this organization, the candidate will help lead the regional development and delivery of innovative products that enable simple and secure payments. Financial Crime is a high-growth, strategic area of focus with a remit to develop a suite of services for card and non-card payment (Account to Account) rails (batch ACH, instant payments) in support of Mastercard's multi-rail strategy. The key responsibilities include ongoing management and enhancements of key products, analysis and evaluation of performance and insight generation, marketing and distribution of products and interacting with key customers and stakeholders (issuers, acquirers, processors, government entities, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Develop regional go-to-market strategies and leads execution to ensure maximum penetration of product and value delivered to customers. This includes aligning with internal teams and supporting the sales team with go-to-market plans, material, pricing and training
• Analyze market trends, dynamics, and competition to inform product and go-to-market strategies
• Interface with market teams, sales, finance, legal, marketing, operations, implementation as the product owner to ensure successful launch of products
• Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, and financial modeling and planning
• Support to Customer Success team to monitor and evaluate product performance; ability to locate and use relevant data to support performance measurement, tracking, and product insights. Build reporting templates and tools
• Provide deep subject matter expertise on the required domain and products to guide customers and internal stakeholders
• Build overall understanding of Security Solutions offerings and broader Mastercard products and services to leverage synergies within the organization to maximize value delivered to customers

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Fraud and Financial crime solutions in account-based payments, experience with launching and scaling new products and services to market
• Good communication and client presentation skills - ability to concisely communicate complex content in a simple, logical and compelling manner.
• Familiarity with Greater EUR Region and able to communicate in local languages is a plus.
• Effective problem solver, identifying and mitigating risks, solving and / or escalating issues as appropriate
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to conduct structured analysis and synthesize large amounts of data. Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work on a team or independently
• Bachelor's degree required
