MasterCard is recruiting a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead software engineering teams developing advanced technologies and applications that are revolutionizing payments. Role:
The Customer Data Management organization consists of all the systems that help a company establish a relationship with Mastercard, intersecting with our Legal and Franchise teams and housing all the parameter configurations that drive the relationship. Our charter is to build the sources of truth that enable one view of a customer for Mastercard.
As the VP of Software Engineering, you will lead our global engineering teams, primarily based in Dublin and Pune. With a goal of not just building the right, simple solution but ensuring adoption across the ecosystem to ensure that we capture the most benefit. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing engineering team that is grounded on a culture of trust, ownership, and innovation.
- Hands-on technical leader who brings considerable experience leading large-scale efforts in application development for backend, web, and mobile applications, using a broad range of technologies.

- You have experience and knowledge of Test Driven and Domain Driven Development (TDD / DDD).
- You are an experienced user of one or more Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).
- You understand finance, and you can read, understand, and lead the development of a business case.
- You can exercise influence outside your own teams to achieve results for the entire organization.
