Medical City North Hills Operations Manager of Nursing Administration

This Operations Manager or Nursing Administration coordinates the departmental functions of the Nursing Administrative Services (House Supervisors, Staffing, Bed Management, Float Pool, and Telemetry) and serves as Facility Schedueler Administrator.  Maintains working conditions which enhance the competence, autonomy and accountability of the employees in these departments.  The manager is responsible for leadership of all personnel in this department and functions as a resource for physicians, staff, and patients.

Medical City North Hills is licensed for 164 beds and is fully accredited by The Joint Commission. A designated Level III Trauma Center, the hospital's specialty services and honors include being the first hospital in the U.S. to have a Cycle Chest Pain Center and the first in North Texas to attain Cycle V accreditation with PCI and Resuscitation. Medical City North Hills has Primary Stroke Center certification by The Joint Commission and also specializes in cardiac care and total joint replacement.

  • Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted.

  • Bachelors degree required.  Master's degree desired.  

  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • Management experience in healthcare.  
  • Minimum of three years of nursing practice.  
  • Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office products (i.e., word, excel, outlook, power point).
