SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem
The RRT will process the knowledge and ability to explain the purpose and procedure of therapy, test and equipment to the patient and/or families. Ability and knowledge to document and perform properly, all respiratory therapy as prescribed and delegated by the medical authority. Must have the ability to define problems and suggest/implement solutions. Must have advanced communication skills as well as professional demeanor toward patients, families, visitors, physicians and hospital co-workers. Must have the ability to initiate emergency measures within the guidelines set forth by facility standards of care/practice. *Medical City Weatherford is a 103-bed, all private room hospital that includes a network of medical clinics serving Parker County. QualificationsRequirements Education: Certification of Completion from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Experience: Six month experience is preferred, not required. Licenses/Certificates: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license by the State of Texas. Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current American Heart Association BCLS, ACLS within the first month of hire. PALS within three months of hire.
