Clinical Nurse – Inpatient Rehab (O'Neil 5)
Unit Highlights
- Setting: 30-bed Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit
- Patient Population: Stable tracheostomy patients, heparin drips, post-stroke care, joint replacements, and limb salvage cases
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 5:1, with support from an average of 3 patient care techs per shift
- Length of Stay: ~10 days, allowing for meaningful patient relationships
- Team Environment: Collaborative, patient-centered care focused on measurable rehabilitation goals
- Scheduling: Full-time days (7a–7p), nights (7p–7a), or evening/nights mix (3p–11p and 7p–7a); every third weekend rotation

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
- Active MD RN License or Compact State RN License (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers (required)
- Prior clinical nursing experience (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will:
- Provide safe, proficient, and compassionate nursing care for patients and families across a range of complexities.
- Anticipate and identify current and potential problems for specific patient populations.
- Critically analyze patient trends and changes in status.
- Develop and implement appropriate interventions directly or by collaborating with the care team.
This position has a hiring range of $35.00 - $56.91
