General Summary of Position

Job Summary:
As a Cook, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing patients/customers meals. You will be in charge of providing breakfast, lunch and dinner while following the required portion size, dietary/allergy restrictions, and food safety protocols. 

This is a part time opportunity. It is a requirement to work rotating weekends.

Primary Duties:

·       Prepare meals according to recipe.

·       May prepare meals on a “made to order setting”.

·       Works at assigned station each shift.

·       Preparing patient meals, customer meals and any catering orders.

·       Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·       Completion of eighth grade and 2 years of food preparation training/experience required.

·       High school diploma or GED preferred.

·       2 years of food preparation experience required.

·       Large scale food preparation and/or hospital dietary experience preferred.
