General Summary of Position
Responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's data management and analytics initiatives. Developing and implementing data strategies, ensuring data quality and integrity and leveraging analytics to drive business insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data governance policies, data assets and drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes. The main areas of focus wlll be: Data Strategy and Planning, Data Governance, Data Architecture and Infrastructure, Data Integration and Transformation, Analytics and Business Intelligence, Team Leadership, Stakeholder Collaboration and Compliance and Security:


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and execute a comprehensive data management and analytics strategy aligned with the organization's business goals.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Establishes and enforces data governance policies, standards and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness and security of data.
  • Defines and implement data quality metrics and monitoring processes.
  • Oversees the design and maintenance of the organization's data architecture and infrastructure.
  • Leads efforts to integrate and transform data from various sources into a unified and useable format.
  • Ensures seamless data flow across systems and applications.
  • Drives the development and implementation of advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Collaborates with analytics teams to deliver actionable insights and reports to support decision-making.
  • Builds and leads a high-performing team of data professionals, including data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists.
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborates with business leaders, IT teams, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Communicates data strategies and initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with data protection, regulations and industry standards.
  • Implements security measures to safeguard sensitive data.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Education

    • Bachelor's degree Data Science, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related field required or
    • Master's degree Data Science, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related field preferred

    Experience

    • 3-4 years Experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare or health plan setting. required

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Statistical analysis tools
    • Data visualization tools
    • Analytical and problem-solving skill
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data findings to diverse audiences
