General Summary of Position
Assists departmental clinical personnel with the technical and maintenance responsibilities for unit medical equipment and with administrative and other duties as assigned. Will serve as team lead and trainer for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, and Pediatric Transplant. Individuals will also participate in coverage of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, Pediatric Transplant, and Adult Endoscopy.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED and 2 yrs of training/education in electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related field required or
- CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO AN APPROPRIATE COMBINATION OF EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE required
Experience
- 1-2 years Hospital experience which includes experience with electrical and audiovisual medical equipment required and
- Previous experience in a special procedure setting or operating room desirable required and
- General office management experience in a hospital setting and previous experience in gastroenterology preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- No special certification, registration or licensure required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work with, maintain, and conduct minor repairs of sophisticated medical equipment.
- Knowledge of laser technology.
- Ability to work independently in a high-stress environment.
- Computer literacy and an ability to work with computerized systems.
- Good interpersonal skills.
This position has a hiring range of $22.48 - $39.75
