General Summary of Position
The individual in this role will be responsible for performing electron microscopy procedures for renal pathology and supporting histopathological diagnostics for muscle and nerve biopsies. Key responsibilities include preparing routine Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) and special stains essential for the microscopic evaluation of surgical specimens. The incumbent will also assist in the overall maintenance and quality assurance of the EM/Muscle/Nerve laboratory. All duties must be carried out in strict compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the standards, policies, and procedures of Georgetown University Hospital.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or closely related field required
- 5-7 years laboratory experience preferred
- ASCP - American Society of Clinical Pathologist required
