We are looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Interventional Cardiology team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. We're helping move cardiovascular care forward regionally and nationally through our MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, with clinical research, better diagnostic tools, and advanced treatments that are always patient focused.

In this role, the PA/ACNP would be primarily responsible for pre procedure prep and post procedure recovery and inpatient rounding on interventional and general Cardiology patients. They will be working in a well-staffed facility with 8 full-time APP's, 5 Interventional Cardiologists and 7 Clinical Cardiologists as well as PRN staff. Within this specialty, this provider will have immediate access to very experienced APP peers and physicians to learn and grow in their career.
The scheduling for this role will be 4 10 hr. shifts a week, some 12 hr. shifts for late coverage into the evenings and rotating weekends, but no nights.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Training
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Experience
- License/Certification/Registration
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
