Description
General Summary of Position
Assists with in room preoperative and intra-operative preparation of patients, and assists with set up of the surgical suite before, during and after a surgical procedure under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Completion of accredited surgical tech program required
Experience
- Prior work experience not required New grad required and
- 1-2 years Experience in a hospital setting required and
- Surgical experience required
Licenses and Certifications
- CPR Certification required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers
- Knowledge of different types of procedures: Orthopedic, General, GYN, Vascular Surgery
- Basic Computer skills to perform Data entry
- Computerized clinical information systems such as Clinicians View, GE Manager
- HIPAA policies on Confidentiality
