General Summary of Position
Is responsible for providing high-quality patient service, and clinical support throughout the Perioperative continuum. Supervises the daily operation of all transportation services at MSCL. Assesses, plans, and coordinates transportation services for patients. Assists with room/bay turnovers in the QRs, Procedure Rooms, and Preop/PACU. Assists the supply chain staff by unpacking deliveries of supplies, restocking fluids and blanket warmers, takes dirty laundry to soiled linen room.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required and
- strong knowledge of employee relations issues preferred
Experience
- 1-2 years 2 years experience in multi-specialty environment. required
Licenses and Certifications
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrates positive customer service skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates astute awareness of the patient population /needs in which he/she interacts. Knowledge and proficiency of vocera and walkie talkie. Verbal and written communication skills. Must be dependable.
This position has a hiring range of $18 - $28.73
