Overview:

 

Develops, delivers, and coordinates the standardized new hire orientation programs for licensed and unlicensed clinical coworkers across the Ministry. Responsible for developing and updating core programs in alignment with evidence-based practice. Develops, delivers and coordinates ongoing education for change efforts and annual competency including but not limited to recurring certifications related to life support and workplace safety.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required Education : Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Discipline Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire. 

Required Experience : Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

Required Licensure: Current appropriate state license if required in discipline. AHA BLS provider. 

Required Skills/Assessments: Demonstrates clinical knowledge related to evidence-based practice with the credibility to positively influence the delivery of patient care. Proven ability to organize and multitask to meet project deadlines. Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Other Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is an advantage. Knowledge of equipment/technology used in delivery of patient care.

Preferred experience:   Specialty Certification (NPD within 2 years preferred)
