Overview:

 

Responsible for performing all duties necessary to provide for the effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs. Responsible for identifying potential and existing drug related problems and taking appropriate actions to prevent or resolve them. Serves as the medication expert on the health care team and takes an active role in the care of patients. Provides education to the community, other health care providers, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy residents. Maintain/enhance pharmacotherapeutic skills through the reading of primary literature, national guidelines and/or medical references Performs related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or at least three (3) years experience as a Staff Pharmacist.
  • Certifications: Missouri Board of Pharmacy Medication Therapy Services Certificate within 90 days of hire.
  • Licensure: Current Missouri Pharmacy licensure.
