Shift: Part Time, Days, 20 hrs per week

Overview:

 

The EKG technician is responsible for performing all modalities of diagnostic EKG testing provided by the department. Must be able to process EKG from capture through physician interpretation and final filing.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Must be a high school graduate. Must show an aptitude for working with computers and computerized machines.Licensure
  • Experience: None required. Previous medical experience and a working knowledge of medical terminology, cardiac anatomy/physiology and experience working with computerized equipment is helpful.
  • Certifications: Must be CPR certified.
  • Other: Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
