Mercy Primary Care is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week) Health Information Technician to join our team.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Overview:

• Assists with the administration of medical records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in HIM/medical records or related fields required. Microsoft Office: Working knowledge required.     
• Preferred Licensure:  RHIT or RHIA.   
• Preferred HIM Experience:  Minimum 2-3 years in an acute care medical records department; Minimum 1 year experience in ROI or Analysis role in an acute care setting
