Mercy Hospital in Carthage, Missouri is a has an exceptional Hospitalist opportunity for a physician BC/BE in Internal Medicine.  Mercy Hospital Carthage is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and offers a chance to practice high quality medicine and enjoy a great lifestyle and low cost of living.  Mercy is a large healthcare system with hospitals and clinics in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma which allows interaction with a large, multi-specialty group.  This position offers

  • Rotating position 7 on/7 off – day rounding only 7am-7pm.
  • Critical Access Hospital with 25 beds (half are swing beds and half are acute beds
  • You will be the single Hospitalist covering the day shift with experienced support staff
  • No ICU (ICU patients are sent to Mercy Hospital Joplin 20 minutes away)
  • Opportunity to moonlight at other nearby Mercy Hospitals in Joplin and Pittsburg, KS
  • Fully Integrated EMR with Epic, Dragon is available 
  • Opportunity to teach medical students
