Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma required
Experience: Work experience in a physician's office or medical institution with exposure to managed care and primary care rules and practices.
Other: Skill in exercising initiative, judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making. Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, doctors, nurses, patients, and managed care representatives. Skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives. Ability to communicate clearly. Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements. Knowledge of computer systems and applications
