Description
Find your calling at Mercy! The Revenue Integrity Specialist ensures accurate and complete charge capture and coding associated with the specialty department. This role requires deep expertise in Epic SBO and MOSAIQ/ARIA systems, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding, and payer compliance. The analyst reconciles clinical documentation with billed charges, identifies discrepancies, and collaborates with clinical and revenue cycle teams to resolve issues, reduce preventable denials, and optimize workflows. Position Details:
Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience, with at least 1 year in radiation oncology.
• Current coding certification (CPC, COC, RHIT, CCS, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with Epic SBO and MOSAIQ/ARIA.
Preferred:
• Associate or bachelor's degree in health information management or related field.
• Experience with clinical and financial reconciliation in Epic/MOSAIQ/ARIA environments.
• 5 years of healthcare experience with demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle functions, denial management, and third-party payer requirements.
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), CCDS, or CDIP.
• Participation in audit, denial resolution, or compliance initiatives related to radiation oncology.
