Overview:

 

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education: ASN or BSN
  • Licensure: Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri. If working on the following areas, additional requirements are as stated: PAR, ASC, GI Lab, ICU ACLS required within first year Emergency Room Nurse ACLS within 1 year, and TNCC within two years L&D - Fetal Monitor Certification and NRP within first year Nursery NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E. within first year Telemetry unit ACLS within 2 years
