Overview:

The Scheduler functions as the primary coordinator for data entry related to patient charges for Mercy Clinic. Organizes and inputs patient charges. Tracks admission and discharge of all patients to insure proper processing of patient charges. Assists with the coordination of unit activities as designated by the leadership team. Handles confidential information regarding patient records, patient charges, departmental statistics, confidential correspondence and physician privileges. Must have strong organizational, communication and computer skills. 

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Experience:  One year related experience
• Other: Supplemental courses in typing and medical terminology- or- broad experience base in medical terminology. Knowledge of business machines and keyboard required. One year related experience required.
• Preferred Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business or related area
