Overview:

Service Line Talent Partners are brand ambassadors for an assigned Service Line (Cancer Care, Cardiovascular, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Surgery & GI, Women & Children/Medical Specialties) leading strategic recruitment efforts to meet both current and future physician staffing needs.

Subject matter experts, providing industry data and insights throughout the physician recruitment lifecycle, they are key partners to leadership teams from initial workforce planning to onboarding and retention. Service Line Talent Partners regularly collaborate with Service Line Presidents, Physician Leadership, Operations Leadership, and Physician Recruitment teams.

Ideal candidates establish rapport easily, quickly develops strategic internal and external partnerships, and builds long-lasting relationships. They facilitate the timely selection of high-quality physician talent utilizing creative and diverse sourcing plans for rapidly growing service lines.

 

This is a hybrid remote role with preference to qualified candidates living in the states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Serve as resource to Service Line President and Physician leadership
•    Partner in workforce planning, providing regular industry data and insights
•    Collaborate with regional physician recruiters for seamless candidate experience
•    Ensure communication of service line recruitment efforts across the Ministry 
•    Develop and executes service line conference and event strategy
•    Attend conferences/events on behalf of the service line and recruitment team
•    Work with internal marketing teams for service line branding opportunities 
•    Maintain continuous focus on building physician pipeline for current and future needs
•    Invest in current relationships and build network of program key contacts
•    Engage Mercy physicians in key searches, promoting connections and referrals 
•    Source vendor partners and manage relationship when additional support is required
•    Design, lead execution, and track success of recruitment marketing campaigns 
•    Create unique recruitment initiatives to attract active and passive candidates
•    Utilize a variety of sourcing channels to build relationships with physician talent

 

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's Degree required or 3 years' experience in business development, physician recruitment, or practice management will be considered in lieu of a degree.
•    Ability to travel up to 25% (Mercy facilities and relevant conferences, education partners, etc.)
•    Adept in communicating clearly and confidently  
•    Capable of quickly developing rapport 
•    Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups
•    Committed to traditions and values of health care as a Ministry
•    Creative and innovative with a knack for problem-solving
