Clinic Sonographer- Springfield, MO

Weekends, Holidays,  On Call and rotation between the Hospital and clinic as needed.  

Day shift, 8hrs. Start Times from 7a-9a- Full Time, 40hrs!

Overview:

• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs vascular ultrasound procedures for interpretation by physicians.
• Provides the patient care essential to vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • 1. High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2. Prerequisite for education and required clinical experience from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Certifications:
  • 1. BLS.
  • 2. Registered or registry eligible, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) with CCI.
• Experience:None
