This is a PRN Speech Therapist position with Mercy Hospital Joplin.
Coverage needed to include inpatient acute and out patient video swallow studies
and services in the NICU.

The Speech Therapist works under the supervision of theDirector/ Manager of Rehab Services, diagnoses and treats speech and language problems, and engages in scientific study of human communication. Evaluates speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors. Plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology.
Education: Advanced degree (graduate and above). Master's Degree from an ASLHA accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program or equivalent
Licensure: Missori license
Experience: Minimum of one year clinical experience.
Certifications: SLP Speech Language Pathologist--MO. BLS Basic Life Support Within 3 Months Of Hire.
