Overview:

 

Supervises the daily operations of imaging procedures in the Hospital Imaging Services Department as well as the activities of personnel involved in providing these services. Under the supervision of the Imaging Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the CT/MRI deaprtments. Provides feedback to co-workers in the form of performance appraisals. Traveling to various facilities is required as is the ability to cover in the clinical areas as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Experience: Three to five years' experience in a hospital/outpatient imaging setting. Prior Lead Technologist or Supervisor experience.
  • Certifications: Registered radiological technologist (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Other: Employee will be required to drive to off-site imaging centers.

Expertise and registry in CT or MRI required, desire registry in both CT/MRI.
