Overview:

This position reserved for co-workers with disabilities who are able to perform general tasks and a more narrowed set of functions than a Supply Tech I would perform. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, Mercy Service Standards, and Accounting of Stewardship.

Qualifications:

Supply Chain Associate:

• Candidates must be able to read and understand basic instructions. 
• While we would prefer someone with a high school diploma or GED equivalent, we would be delighted to provide on the job training to help you succeed here at Mercy
• Supply Chain Associates are expected to interact with our patients, visitors, and coworkers in a warm and friendly manner while performing their duties
• Previous experience in healthcare or supply distribution field is helpful

Supply Chain Technician:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: No Experience Required, at least 1-year previous Supply Distribution experience is preferred

• Preferred Experience:
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment.
  • The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job.
  • Full list of physical demands/Job screen is available upon request, but includes the following minimums: Constant standing/walking; frequent reaching/pushing <40# force; occasional bending; minimal squatting/crouching/kneeling/overhead reach/lifting <10# overhead/lifting floor to waist & carrying <35#/pushing <40# force/balance/grip/pinch.
