Overview:


The Talent Selection Specialist provides essential administrative and coordination support to the recruitment team, ensuring smooth and efficient hiring processes. This role handles a variety of tasks, including event planning and logistics, supply management, calendar coordination, preparing reports, and supporting departmental initiatives.

 

Qualified applicants will have prior experience providing professional administrative support and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate recruitment-related visits, events, and community outreach initiatives.

  • Assist with event coordination, registration, and logistics.

  • Prepare and maintain regular reports on recruitment activities and event outcomes.

  • Generate and distribute formal presentation materials and reports.

  • Participate in recruitment-related meetings, career fairs, and networking events.

  • Support advertising and promotional efforts, including posting job openings, creating recruitment marketing materials, and building relationships with universities and professional organizations.

  • Draft and prepare correspondence to candidates, universities, and recruiters.

  • Provide administrative support for departmental committees.

  • Assist with system administration tasks.

  • Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years customer experience and/or administrative support. Prior experience in event planning, sales, or recruitment preferred.
  • Other:
    • Microsoft Office proficient, Adobe experience preferred
    • Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written
    • Excellent time management and organization skills
    • Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
    • Works independent and is self-driven, demonstrating an ability to work with minimal supervision to accomplish and carry out goals/objectives
    • High Speed Internet connection required
