Job Description:
The Program Manager reports to the Assistant Director, Supply Chain Services in conjunction with the Director, Supply Chain Services. This role will act as a system wide leader overseeing the BlueBin Program and the Workday Mobile Supply Chain Program. The BlueBelt certified technicians will report directly to the Program Manager. Management will include maintaining the BlueBin dashboard, conducting routine analysis and providing further development of program key performance indicators. This position will strategize, plan, develop and physically build future par locations as the system expands to fully utilize the program. This position will be required to round with Director Level and clinical champion level team members to maintain compliance and sustainability in the program's standard operating procedures. Must have expert level spreadsheet knowledge, skills and abilities in order to use v-lookup, pivot table, graphics and comparative macro tools as needed. Must have advanced knowledge of Workday, BlueBin, Tableau and other technologies such as bar code scanning, RFID, WiFi and Bluetooth as they relate to current and new opportunities. Aids in the development of program strategies that support Montage Health's plans to lessen risk and maximize efficiency while achieving cost, quality, outcome and safety goals. Manages all other tasks as assigned, the Program Manager is a resource of Supply Chain Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day BlueBin and Workday Mobile Supply Chain operations to maintain effective delivery of services.
- Supervises the BlueBelt certified technicians and conducts their respective performance appraisals. Provides performance feedback to the Supply Chain Assistant Director for the distribution technicians also known as striders.
- Conducts disciplinary, capability, and grievance investigations and addresses any failings with the appropriate actions.
- Acts as liaison between department directors, clinical champions and BlueBelt certified technicians.
- Identifies inventories that can be standardized, modified, or eliminated.
- Executes duties in compliance with ethical purchasing practices, Montage Health policies, Joint Commission, state regulations, safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
- Manages a cost-effective, centralized sourcing process for purchase and replenishment of products throughout the programs.
- Provides leadership, motivation, and support to foster growth of supply chain services staff.
- Directs the standardization of supply replenishment processes, practices, and strategies for continual process improvement.
- Ensures that supply chain activities are in line with organizational goals and adhere to current best practices.
- Analyzes supply replenishment and logistics strategies including but not limited to use of benchmarks, market fundamentals, industry data, cost drivers and trends, key cost variances, and economic forecasting.
- Works with leadership to create program management timelines, develop and determine operational budgets and monitor metrics to remain within established budgetary guidelines.
- Purchases and manages the associated technology and equipment utilized in the BlueBin and Mobile Supply Chain programs.
- Maintains professional growth through seminars, workshops, current literature, and professional relationships.
- Adheres to the code of conduct, organization mission and value statements, and all other enterprise policies and procedures.
Experience
Five years of previous experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics and finance or have proven the ability to lead similar projects required. Previous experience with supervisory or has demonstrated equivalent leadership responsibilities are preferred.
Education
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or have previously been a Program Manager for BlueBin or have five years work-related experience commensurate with the position description.
Licensure/Certifications
BlueBin BlueBelt and Leadership Program Certification preferred.

Assigned Work Hours:
Primarily Monday - Friday 7AM-3:30PM, can include holidays as needed.
