Job Description:

The Senior Administrative Assistant reports to the Assistant Director of Security. This person supports the Security Leadership team as needed.  This person will be responsible for the coordination and completion of daily operational functions within the department. This person will perform duties including, but not limited to, greeting those entering the office, answering, and directing incoming phone calls, ordering supplies, reserving conference rooms, photo ID badging, and assisting with “key safe” and employee lockers. This person will also be responsible for, but not limited to, coding of receipts or bills for the department using the Workday-related process. This person will also be responsible for assisting in employee-related access through the S2 software when applicable.

Experience:
Minimum of one year of administrative assistant experience required. A working knowledge of office equipment. Computer skills required with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) applications and intermediate level keyboarding. Must have the ability to type 45 words per minute accurately, demonstrate skills in working with computer equipment and software.  Possess a working knowledge of medical terminology and have good public relations skills.   Good written and communication skills are a must. Knowledge of Access is preferred.

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent; college-level courses in business or computer science preferred.
