Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our facilities and equipment are operating efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life and efficiency of equipment and facilities.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine effective solutions for repair.
- Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Liaise with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repair or maintenance work.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment and order items as necessary to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of company events or special projects.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
