The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full-time board certified Psychiatrist for their Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services. This leadership position will be responsible for the day to day operations of our Integrated Outpatient Adult Services which includes: Adult PHP, Adult IOP, ACT, OnTrack, TMS and general outpatient psychiatric services. This large multi-disciplinary service cares for over 5,000 patients per year. Oversight includes: the recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of all staff. A strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents is essential.

We offer faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System based on qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary leadership team working with a diverse patient population in a major clinical and training institution.

Mount Sinai/Elmhurst offers a collegial environment and competitive salary ($270k-$305k) along with full benefits. Candidates must have a MD degree and be board certified in Psychiatry along with 3-5 years in a leadership role. This position requires current New York State License, Medicaid number and DEA number.
