Launched in 2018, the TrueCaptureTM intelligent, self-adjusting tracker control system combines breakthrough machine-learning and predictive analytics technology to advance solar powerplant performance. As part of a growing team innovating at the cutting edge of renewable energy, you will be focused on technical knowledge sharing for a new product vertical within a highly cross-functional corporate environment that fosters creativity and collaboration. The Software Business Development Manager will be based in Fremont, CA, Remote Hybrid. In this position, you will report to the Software Business Development Director. Here is a glimpse of what you'll do… • Responsible for driving the software sales through customers' technical engineering, finance management, and procurement functions to exceed software sales targets (TrueCapture and Navigator products). • Solar power plant financial analysis, deal structure customizing, and price negotiation. • Financial model deep dives with customers to demonstrate the return on software investment. • Business development presentations to customers and partners (directors and executives). • Customer organization mapping, navigating, and relationship development to identify key decision makers. • Lead contract negotiation and the redlining process. • This role will partner closely with the NX customer account managers to drive the software sale. Here is some of what you'll need (required)… • Highly motivated and energetic. • Agile mindset to navigate roadblocks and deliver results. • Refined executive level communication & presentation skills. • 7-10 Years of business development experience in the renewable energy industry. • Excel financial modeling – including IRR, ROI, NPV • Value based sales experience. • Contract and price negotiations.
