Job Summary

The Sr Manager, Electrical & Packaging Program Management will be based in Fremont, CA. In this position, you will report to the VP, Supply Chain Management.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do…

  • Work with design engineering teams, other cross functional teams, manufacturers, and components suppliers to successfully launch new products
  • Lead factory readiness for line setup including test equipment.
  • Handle supply readiness to ensure availability, quality, and cost.
  • Collaborate with Contract Manufacturer to develop efficient methods for assembling product. Design or specify manufacturing equipment, tooling and processes as required.
  • Communicate requirements, set initial build plans, drive material readiness with supply chain teams and evaluate constraints.
  • Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain availability in pursuit of high quality and low cost.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams including engineering, quality, operations, and global commodity managers.
  • Provide a feedback loop to Engineering and Supply Chain to capture lessons learned from product rollouts and provide recommendations for future designs and processes.

Here is some of what you'll need (required)…

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing preferred. 
  • 15 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, product development and new products introduction (prototype to volume ramp-up) .
  • Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) Contract Manufacturing Experience
  • Experience working with 3rd party Contract Manufacturing (CM) and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)
  • Strong understanding of electrical component level supply and basic engineering concepts. Specifically, background should include EMS, PCBAs & power supplies.
  • Experience developing energy products preferred.
  • Familiar with basic engineering concepts
  • Experience with FMEA, DOE, and continual process improvement.
  • Experience in DFma, DFq, DFs, DFc (manufacturing, quality, sourcing, service and cost).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
Pay Range (Applicable to California)$127,800.00 USD - $175,700.00 USD Job Category Operations
