Appliance Installer II Pay Range: $23.39 – $26.20 per hour Your Piece of the Puzzle NFM's Appliance Installation Team builds strong relationships with our customers by providing expert consultation and professional installation services. As an Appliance Installer II, you will be welcomed into customers' homes to ensure every installation meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your work plays a key role in creating loyal, lifelong customers. Job Duties: A Day in the Life Safety First: Safely handle and transport appliances to prevent damage to products and property. Scheduling & Coordination: Work closely with customers and contractors to complete installations efficiently and on schedule. Installation: Properly connect appliances to water, electrical, and/or gas lines in accordance with all safety standards and regulations. Assessment & Quality Control: Inspect appliances during operation to identify vibration, overheating, leaks, or loose components; make adjustments to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Team Collaboration: Partner with sales and merchandising teams to support showroom displays and special functions as needed. Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED preferred Appliance service and repair experience preferred Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience preferred Minimum 2 years of wiring experience preferred Experience using power tools and basic hand tools preferred Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Must meet hiring requirements outlined in the NFM DOT non-CDL policy Must comply with applicable standards under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act Ability to lift, push, and pull required weights per departmental guidelinesBenefits: What's in It for You?
