Pay Range: $28.81 - 42.64 hourly

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

At NFM, our Electricians perform routine service, diagnose/repair existing electrical systems, complete installations and assist vendors on larger and smaller scale electrical systems, phone, video, computer and security equipment. Our world class facility offers multiple opportunities for you to put your skills to work.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Sustain: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus such as primary and secondary switchgear, distribution gear, transformers, UPS systems, motor control systems, diesel and natural gas generators, electronic controls serving energy management systems, and lighting equipment
• Replace: Re-wire electric motors, bearings, and components
• Perform: Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment
• Collaborate: Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, electrical apparatus, and electrical controls in buildings automation systems
• Support: Assist other areas with cabling, troubleshooting, and repairing of phone, video, computer, or security equipment

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Electrician's license required
• 4 years of experience as an electrician required, Master electrician required in KC
• Technical certification preferred
• Systimax certification preferred
• Knowledge of computer programs and ability to read blueprints required
• Valid driver's license and ongoing acceptable driving record – Missouri residents must have a Class E driver's license
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, drug screen and criminal background check
