  • Assists the Sr. Manager with company-wide equipment maintenance management, system improvements and facility activities
  • Monitors and oversees projects regarding facility maintenance, equipment installs, light construction; and related budgets
  • Provides leadership and direction to maintenance staff to achieve department objectives and company priorities. Provides feedback, guidance, training, task direction and evaluates performance, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement
  • Assist in the development of specifications and manages installation, system improvements and equipment maintenance
  • Researches and evaluates new and existing equipment needs
  • Manages installation, integration and maintenance of automated distribution and production equipment
  • Oversees the design, fabrication and implementation of custom equipment in support of process improvement, ergonomics and efficiency
  • Documents processes and equipment functionality, including blueprint and schematic creation, and ensures SOPs are available to assigned staff
  • Applies strategies for tracking and analyzing equipment downtime and failure patterns; implements solutions that prevent reoccurrence
  • Provides Project Management (PM) support and oversight of onsite vendors and contractors
  • Sets and executes operating objectives for assigned projects
  • Identifies training opportunities and supports Sr. Manager in delivering content and ensuring new procedure compliance
  • Oversees budget management and cost containment for Maintenance department
  • Approves Action Memos and purchase orders and secures funding and support for projects
  • Drives problem-solving initiatives with warehouse staff to mitigate operations/procedural problem reoccurrence
  • Promotes safety awareness and ensures compliance with regulations
  • Maintains preventive maintenance programs for North Bend facilities and communicates requirements
  • Serves as key contributor of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan


  • Minimum of seven years related experience managing and leading projects in Maintenance and Engineering field
  • Ability to work independently and manage staff
  • Requires knowledge of operation and maintenance of conveyors, sorters, automated packaging equipment, Barcode scanners, forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • Ability to provide concept and design services to company and staff that result in fabrication of tools and systems
  • Requires knowledge of maintenance and programming for multiple PLC platforms
  • Solid understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical power and controls, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong technical writing ability
  • AutoCAD proficient
  • Windows-based PC experience, including familiarity with CMMS software
  • Undergraduate degree in electrical power and controls, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in related field
  • Project management professional (PMP) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certified preferred
  • First Aid and CPR trained recommended
