At NorthBay Health the Financial Analyst works onsite prepares standardized and ad-hoc reports including service line profitability's and new program proformas. Assists with preparation of expenditure analyses and program analyses. Performs analysis for Administrative and Physician leadership. Interprets data and analyses and assists in developing complex analyses and reports. Reports to the Director of Budget & Decision Support, and supports all divisions of the Healthcare System. Plays a key role in compiling the annual operating and capital budgets, reviewing requests for accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Supports all levels of Management to monitor financial spend and their need for financial information and analysis.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
- Assists with preparation and presentation of financial analyses. Types of reports include: Capital expenditure analyses, new program evaluations, pro forma income statements, budgeting, contracting, cash flow, cost analyses, physician practice patterns and reimbursement.
- Participates on system task forces and committees.
- Consults with department managers regarding financial and operational issues including report interpretation, scheduling, pricing and budget preparation.
- Performs others duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: B.S. in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA, M.P.H. or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Three to five years of financial analysis or budgeting experience is required, healthcare experience preferred.
Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, knowledge of relational databases. Knowledge of GAAP and laws, regulations and statutes governing the operation of healthcare providers.

Compensation:
Pay range MIN $43.51 - $55.19 (Offered rate based on years of experience)
