JOB SUMMARY

At NorthBay Healthcare the Occupational Therapist II works under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Supervisor and Rehabilitation Services Manager. The staff occupational therapist, in accordance with his/her evaluation findings and the physician's referral, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Education:  Minimum bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  2. Licensure/Certifications:   Current California Occupational Therapy license is required. NBCOT Certification isrequired.CHT, Physical Agent Modalities (PAM ), Advanced Practitioner certification, or Advanced Practitioner certification in Hands preferred. Occupational Therapy license applicant may be considered. Current AHA or equivalent BLS certification and all other annual requirements of System and department. (TB testing, Safety, etc)
  3. Experience: One year experience in acute hospital or outpatient hand clinic preferred, however, will consider new graduates.
  4. Skills:  Good basic clinical skills in occupational therapy evaluation and treatment. Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in the following age groups: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. Knowledge of existing laws and regulations governing the practice of Occupational Therapy

Compensation: $53.82 - $68.03 per hour (Based On Years of Experience)

Per Diem- 10% Differential

Weekend Shift $1.40 per hour
