
Description
At NorthBay Health the Patient Transporter under the supervision of the Radiology, provide timely, and efficient general transport of patients between nursing units and the department of Diagnostic Imaging. Assist nursing or imaging staff in preparing patients for examinations and assists staff in discharging patients.

Qualifications
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Licensure:
- Current AHA or equitant BLS card.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is favorable.
- Excellent emotional intelligence and communication. Reliable time-management and punctuality
Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills including legible handwriting, demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to courteously interact with the public and co-workers, and presents self in a professional manner

Work Hours:
- FTE: 0.6 (Full-Time Equivalent)
- Shift: 8-hour shifts
- Radiology Transporter rotation with other Radiology Transporter to insure coverage 7 days a week.
Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range Min $23.49 - Max $29.64 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
