Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is looking for a Clinical Informaticist to join our Information Services (IS) team. The Clinical Informaticist is responsible for bridging the gap between clinical departments and the IS Department. They will facilitate communication between IS, vendors, and the staff regarding clinical IS applications. The Clinical Informaticist will identify, define, manage, and communicate data; information; knowledge; and wisdom in clinical practice while supporting healthcare teams in information technology.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and computer skills and at least three years working in a customer service role. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field – or related experience – and strong spreadsheet and database software skills will ensure you're ready to hit the ground running. A strong candidate will have significant exposure to and knowledge of clinical or fiscal departments' operating policies and procedures as well as knowledge of healthcare information systems.
