Northwell Health is seeking a transformational leader who can build on existing clinical, educational and research strengths in the Division of Medical Genetics and Human Genomics. The new leader must be a highly accomplished and academically productive Geneticist with exceptional communication, interpersonal and change management skills, and a strong commitment to upholding our core values- including promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. The new Chief will be a physician visionary with demonstrable results.
Within the Division of Medical Genetics and Human Genomics, our team is comprised of clinical geneticists, genetic counselors, nurse practitioners, social workers, dieticians, research scientists, and bioinformaticians. Our mission is to transform care by integrating genetics into routine clinical use at Cohen Childrens Medical Center and throughout Northwell Health. We offer numerous opportunities to contribute to the care of patients, the advancement of science, and the education of the next generation of Genetics professionals. We are vastly expanding our pediatric and adult clinical genetics programs, focusing on:
