Internist
Job Duties: Diagnose and provide nonsurgical treatment of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patient's family concerning treatment and care of patients. Refer those cases that require specialist services but maintain responsibility, assuring that continuity of care is provided. Various administrative duties and participate in committees. Maintain patient records according to hospital policies and procedures. Provide appropriate and timely education for Medical Staff and hospital staff.
