Job Summary

 

We are looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst to analyze proposed process and data changes, and be a team member involved in the design and implementation of technology solutions.  This role is responsible for translating the business and functional requirements for each solution (the what) into the technical deliverables with the development team (the how). 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with Senior Business Leaders, Solution Architect, IT development teams along with Scrum Master to improve the overall architecture based on business & IT needs
  • Support and Lead Product Lifecycle of Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain products through advancement of technical solutions
  • Participate and Lead elicitation of requirements using a toolkit of techniques
  • Create and deliver artifacts derived from Business and Functional requirements (Process models, User Stories, Process and Data Diagrams) to analyze current state and impact of proposed future technical solutions on APG Business processes, data and applications
  • Evaluate solution constraints and find alternatives that alleviate business risk/technical debt; drive and challenge the business on process improvements
  • Ensure technical capabilities and IT components and services are in place to deliver technology solutions
  • Participate in testing process through test case identification and execution
  • Work to identify root cause and best fix of technical issues as they arise
  • Clearly communicate and share accountability for results, timelines, risks, deliverables
  • Work independently and within a team under hybrid methodology, advancing individual and team skills and improve team adoption of governance and best practices
  • Learn all modules of the software to the point of becoming an expert
  • Develop a familiarity of the workings of APG business units to serve as the voice of the business customer to IT

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology, Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and work-related experience 
  • 5+ years experience in requirements elicitation and documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, take initiative and work independently while part of a team
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work across several teams to arrive at the optimal solution design 
  • Background in IT Large System Applications support (Infor M3, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce CRM, Oracle TMS platforms preferred)
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them to solutions
  • Detail-oriented and analytical in nature, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies (Agile/SAFe experience preferred) with experience using dev ops platforms (Service Now, Jira/Atlassian, MS Azure DevOps)
  • Ability to travel up to 40% to APG sites as projects deems necessary to engage the customer
